Gears obstructed

Unscrew water sleeve from brewing unit

and remove brewing unit

Do gears move to home position in service

mode?

Is the gearmotor energised?

Replace gearmotor

Does brewing unit move to

home position in service

mode?

Is current flow to cup warmer and

thermal fuse OK?

Is the noise emission

abnormal?

Remove brewing unit and check

for overdosing and friction

END

Disconnect gearmotor switch

Do gears move to home position in service

mode?

Yes

Remove brewing unit

Replace gearmotor

switch END

Check brewing unit

END

Yes

Check / Replace gear

wheels and microswitch

END

Replace cup warmer /

thermal fuse

END

Replace electronic system
